I've returned at last!

Hello faithful blog readers!

I am back!! :D

I have a few posts nearly ready to put up, but I still have some more work to do on them. :) So more coming soon!

Right now, though, I just wanted to share something I've been thinking about.

You know how it's sometimes hard to spend that little bit of time reading the Bible and talking to God (aka praying)? Well, I've been thinking about how strange that is.

Seriously: The Creator, God of the universe, (who, for some reason that I can hardly fathom, first is mindful of us bitty little people and secondly loves us sooo much He became one of us and then died for us) wants us to talk to Him and to learn from His word!! And we have a hard time focusing?!? What is up with that? Why aren't we just completely thrilled? (technically, I know why... it's because of our sinful nature and so forth... but it still boggles my mind)

So... I'm going to be thinking about how exciting it is that I get to talk directly to God when I pray from now on. :) I hope you do the same!!

  3. Interesting thoughts! For many years I struggled in being able to keep up a steady prayer life, but over the past 26 months, praying has become part of my every day routine. I've found that when my prayer life begins to go downhill, I begin to drift from God in every area. How amazing that the Lord listens to what we've got to say!

You have a really cool blog, by the way! You can check out mine at www.nocondemnation81.blogspot.com

  4. Thank you! It is amazing that God listens to us. Have you ever watched the movie "Indescribable?" It really helps you get a perspective on how big God is and how small we are.

Thanks! I'm glad you have enjoyed it so far. :) I checked yours out briefly as well... what I read was great! I'll have to go back when I have more time. :)
